just beware that there are design issues regarding the use of a cable shutter release. The 10 pin jack normally on the front of a Nikon dslr camera has been replaced with a jack on the side of the camera. If you are using an L bracket to shoot in portrait

Finest DSLR I have ever used!

Since I got this D600 body, I have done a few different tests with it and some sharp Nikon lenses. I have used it at high ISO levels under moonlight at night. I have used it in bright sunshine as well. I am very favorably impressed wtih the image quality
