Great bag.
Strengths: Well designed for digital photographer in mind, comfortable to wear, well padded, built in all-weather cover, doesn't look like a "man purse", lots of pockets, easy to switch from back to front.
Weakness: Can only be worn over the right shoulder...not really a big deal.
I was using a Tamrac toploader bag for easy access to my camera. When my equipment outgrew that bag, I bought the SlingShot. My bag holds a D70 with attached Sigma 18-50 lens, a 50mm lens, a P2000, SB-800, batteries, and various accessories. If you have more equipment, I would recommend the bigger SlingShot 200.
I recently used this bag while shooting a social event. I had no problem with shooting and wearing this bag full of equipment for over 4 hours. I had piece of mind knowing that no one was messing with my equipment in a corner of the room while I was up running around. There was a couple of times when I accidently left the main compartment open, but thanks to the the stop-zip feature, it didnt open all the way causing my equipment to fall out.
I believe this bag is better than any shoulder bag or top-loader for even photography. When you're shooting, you can wear it like a backpack to so it isn't in your way. You can also wear it on your front, rest your elbows on it, and use it for support. When you need to access something from it, to change lenses for example, just rotate the bag to the front, grab what you need, rotate it back, and keep on shooting. Its that easy.
