Great battery

Strengths: Long lasting, fast charging, and slim design

This Nikon EN-EL8 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery works for my Nikon coolpix P1 camera perfectly. It takes a couple of hours for full charging, which can give me dozens of picture taking. I am glad with it and I'll recommend it.

EN-EL8 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

Strengths: Compact design, quick charge capability

Weakness: Is not compatible with prior Nikon digital camera battery (I have three of them, EN-EL2)

This battery purchase is a backup battery. The Nikon EN-EL8 battery is very compact making it practical to carry several. Unfortunately, my camera only accepts this battery making my prior Nikon rechargeables (3) obsolete.

Great Spare Battery for those long shooting days!!!

Strengths: Holds a good long charge that beats the original battery that came with my battery!

Weakness: None

I recommend this Nikon battery as opposed to the non-OEM batteries that are being sold on the net. They have never failed me and give a user years of possible use. It's worth the extra money. The battery definitely reaches the 200 photo capacity.

Nikon EN-EL8 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

Strengths: Light, slim design

Weakness: None

Bought this camera for a Nikon P2 Digital camera as a backup in case my primary battery runs dry. Together I can take about 400 pictures, which should cover just about anything. An absolute must.

Strengths: This generic brand is far less expensive than the Nikon brand

Weakness: None that I can find

This is a fabulous value. The price for a generic battery is so much lower than the Nikon brand that you can buy 2 or 3 extras to have on hand for when you are truly inspired to take hundreds of photos. I would definitely buy these again.

My original battery for Nikon S1 lasted much less, about 50-75 picture and I miss many other pic when I go out, so I decided to buy another battery. I bought this from Amazon and this one lasts much more. I am overall happy with this.
