Strengths: Small, compact camera body. Great way to access the menu with each of the functions clearly labelel on the dial. Menu is easy to understand and maneuver.
Weakness: The red eye feature is not the best on some of my photos. Time to "reset" for the next picture is just OK.
I generally like this camera and would recommend it to others. I wish the camera came with better internal memory for taking a few pictures. I did buy the 1GB xD card so this should be fine but I think it's a bit of a drawback for the sale of the product. The compact size was the seller for me and I also really like the "flat" LCD screen.

Strengths: Small size. good quality pictures, easy to use with menu feature in camera
Weakness: red-eye reduction feature does not always work. Long shutter delay.
After just 18 months the camera is no good. It now makes a clicking noise when it's turned on trying to adjust the shutter in and out. The camera now shows everything very blurred in the view finder and all pictures and videos are very blurred. My camera was not dropped or damaged in any way to cause this. It was working just fine and then it wasn't. I am very disappointed. This was my first experience with a digital. After paying over $200 for this camera, I certainly expected it to last longer than 18 months.

Really great camera
Strengths: size, weight, usability, screen size
Weakness: none that I can think of
I LOVE this camera! I initially purchased it because of the excellent price, but as I've used it, I really like the camera itself. It's fairly self explanatory, and has many options, such as zoom, stability, night, portrait, frames, etc. I've played around with the camera some, and have enjoyed the quality of the photos that I've taken. It's also easy to explain to someone else how to use, for the times when you want to be in the photo yourself. I would definitely recommend this to someone else if they were considering purchasing it.

Strengths: big 2.5 LCD screen and sleek look
Weakness: zoom, battery life, and it kept shutting off on me
i had gotten this camera as a gift and i thought that it was the coolest thing but i soon found that the battery life sucked and the zoom wasn't as great as some of my other cameras and it kept turning off on me. i would be in the middle of taking pictures and it would just turn off and the pic or video that i was taking wouldn't save! i tried everything, to include buying a new battery, and nothing worked! plus the zoom isn't as great as i had thought, it was very blurry and dark, even if the flash was suppose to be on. also i would have to recharge the battery almost every hour and this made going to places like amusement parks very hard when you could only take a few pictures. it also takes a very long time to get your full battery life back. over all i would NOT recommend this product, Olympus kind of sold you short on this product, so don't waste your money.

Olympus FE-190 Review
Strengths: Price, compact size, 6MP
Weakness: As others have mentioned, the red eye feature is just not quite right. Also, the camera uses xD cards.
The camera uses xD cards, which are some of the most expensive cards on the market. Add to that the fact that xD cards are not widely used in other handheld devices and you will find that you have more invested in this little rig than you might have planned. I bought it on clearance at Target for $50. If you pay full price and then have to invest in xD this may not be such a great deal compared to some of the cameras out there using SD.

So-Sad they discontinued it!
Strengths: Simple to use
Weakness: screens breaks easily
Very simple and stylish digital camera great also for teens and older folks, fits in a small purse, but need to protect the screen from scratches and breakage.
Downloading is a kids'game!

Don't buy at OfficeMax, find a better price $150-$190
Strengths: Panoramic picture capability, pretty good zoom in and out, easy to follow directions.
Weakness: No thumbnail view, have to scroll through one by one, a bit fragile, you may not want to drop it too much.
It's a great compact camera (fits in a clutch purse or your jean pocket) and quality of pictures are nice. The panaromic feature is great for vast views of the countryside or whatever panoramic view!
Don't expect it to be 35mm digital capable, this is purely for compactability. Definitely buy a case so as not to scratch the LCD and to cushion the camera against bumping or dropping.
I'm going to Europe on a student budget as a student, this is going to be the perfect camera to bring with me!

DCRP Review: Olympus FE-190
Unfortunately, the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies to the Olympus FE-190. Despite its nice design and low price, it's just too stripped down for me to recommend. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on a better camera -- I've listed some of them below to get you started. You'll be glad you did.
