I generally like the Kodak EasyShare cameras and other hardare.
Customer service, on the other hand, has been a disaster. An Easy Share software downloaded update didn't load properly and led me on a trail of three customer service reps over the course of 4 1/2 hours with no resolution. After requesting to speak to a customer service manager, I was promised that a $7.95 CD of the software would be sent for free (though it was clear he was doing me a favor because "these cd's cost money and don't grow on trees," he said. Whether or not the CD solves the problem remains to be seen. But customer service is awful.
Unless you have endless customer service patience, search out other options.

I bought this photo printer in a printer+camera bundle. It prints good quality photoes, and is very small and portable. One drawback is that sample pack only has several sheets, and they are sort of costly to buy. Guess that is where the company is making the money:)

Strengths: Small, lightweight, easy to use. The prints are very nice and indeed waterproof. Easy to share with multiple kodak cameras. Easy to find replacement paper and "ink".
Weakness: Don't firmware update these. Poor instructions. Easy to gear slip. Lasts about 1-1.5yrs. May cause XP-SP2 to blue screen according to Kodak's website.
This is actually the second one I've bought for my mother. I wanted to give her something easy enough for her to use as she is very non-technical. After about 5 months usage, we started experiencing paper jams and gear grinding. After a year I decided to apply a Kodak firmware update to the printer as their support site said this may resolve the issue. After applying the firmware and the utility stating "firmware successfully applied" it was totally dead, won't even power on. So be careful. I bought another because as far as the price range goes, this is about as good as it gets.

Strengths: Easy to use, good picture quality, fast, portable
Weakness: none
Kodak EastShare G600 Printer dock is a nice small affordable photo printer which produces very good quality 4"x6" photos. The picture quality is simply incredible. It also print very fast. You need not to be a pro to use this printer. It's portable and easy to carry. This is also a low priced Printer. I recommend this printer.

Strengths: Very easy to assemble and use, excellent quality pictures
Weakness: Only provided with 5 sheets of photo paper; printer dock drive causes serious computer errors, resulting in computer freezing and shutting down without warning.
Despite removing the entire program from my computer and re-installing it, the problem persists. Kodak has been of no help in coming up with a solution whatsoever. When this has happened, I have lost all of the pictures I downloaded from my camera to the printer dock (and deleted from my camera). Which makes the frustration in using the dock even greater.
On the upside, the picture quality is incredible.

Weakness: Not enough sample supplies with printer.
I have never had a photo printer. It is nice to be able to print picture quality. We all have the inkjet printers that print pictures. They are not even close to the quality that the docking station. I really like this product.

I bought this printer to go with my Kodak EasyShare camera. The printer is relatively small and relatively portable. The photos come out nice, but the sample paper pack is too small and Kodak supplies are quite expensive. Overall, I'd probably recommend a Canon photo printer instead.
