Olympus Stylus FE-210 7MP Digital Camera
Strengths: Very easy to use. Digital image stabilization and build in guide help are provided.
Weakness: No manual mode. Video without sound. The price of xD card is much higher than SD
The biggest advantage of this camera is very easy to use. 16 preset shooting modes and a build in guide help are provided. But the camera don't support the manual mode and very few parameters can be adjusted. The video function is very week: no sound and only 15fps. The price of xD card is expensive. Overall, this camera is good for the first time users for digital camera or the beginner users, but no recommanded for the other users.

Strengths: Inexpensive, great outdoor pictures.
Weakness: Lag time between shots.
Outdoor pictures are great. Indoors, not always. Long lag time between shots.
I don't see any other references to a battery issue I am having so perhaps I got the lemon. Problem with camera saying that battery is dead when the batteries are new. Turn off and on a few times and camera comes up with FULL battery. Sent for maintenance twice on this issue - still unresolved. The second time sent for maintenance because the pixelation had deteriorate (along with the battery issue - maybe they were related though...)
I have six different sets of rechargable batteries so I doubt it is the battery at fault.
I may return camera to Olympus and tell them to keep it.

Strengths: Cheap 7.1 MP Digital Camera
Weakness: Uses xD card which is expensive and indoor picture is so-so.
I got this 7.1 MP Digital camera for $99.99 which was very cheap. Indoor pictures are not good. Outdoor picture quality is good. Uses 2 AA battery so no need to look for costly lithium-ion battery, but uses xD card which is not cheap.

There are better cameras
Strengths: Easy to use
Weakness: shooting lag time
This camera is nice and the picture quality is OK. It is a good addition for our family because we already own another Olympus and we have spare XD cards.
The main drawbacks of this camera are the lag time between focusing and shooting. It is annoying at times, especially for action pictures.
For the price that it currently sells, I think that it is better to add some more money and buy a better camera.

Great Cute Camera
Strengths: Cute design! Ease of use! 7.1 Megapixel CCD! Street price!
7.1 Megapixel resolution really ensure that this affordable camera delivers excellent shooting performance, with the results easily appreciated on a large 6.4cm LCD screen. The image quality is excellent. Fifteen scene modes have been pre-programmed with the best settings for many common shooting situations such as Indoor, Fireworks, and Self Portrait. Incorporating a “one button, one function” design principle, the FE-210 is ready for use straight out of the box.

Olympus Stylus FE-210 7MP Digital Camera
Strengths: 2.5 Inch LCD screen, Digital Image Stabilization, Small size, Small size, AA battery and Built in Help
Weakness: Indooor picture quality, Video without voice, No continuous drive mode
I owned Olympus D 540 zoom digital camera for last 3 years and I liked it very much. I also liked the software that came with it. I wanted to get another one that has more resolution, bigger screen but not that expensive. I found this from staples.com for $129.99 and I bought this. I am quite happy with its performace outdoor and indoor with good source of light. I think this is a great camera for its size and tough built. I will definitely buy olympus again.

Olympus FE-210 Great price for a great camera.
Strengths: Easy to use, great photos. Don't need to open flash. Inexpensive. Overall Great.
Weakness: Internal memory storage is minimal. Be sure to purchase a memory card.
This product is very reasonably priced and easy to use out of the box. I strongly recommend the Olympus FE-210 for the casual picture taker. Not a professional myself, I appreciate the one button feature for automatic picture taking. I lost one on vacation and I am buying the same camera as a replacement. That should say something.

What a disappointment
Strengths: Reasonable price
Weakness: See comments.
This camera has been a total disappointment. 1) Directions come in 2 manuals and 2 CD's and several different, irrevelent foreign languages and are confusing and unclear. 2) Nowhere on the outside of the retail box (or in the instructions inside) is it disclosed that the user must purchase an additional xD Picture Card; otherwise, without it the camera will take only 3 pictures maximum! 3) Incredibly, nowhere in the instructions are directions given how to install the xD Picture Card, or where it even goes. 4) Practically impossible to see what you're taking a picture of on the screen in bright sunlight. 5) Confusing symbols for the operating features on the camera itself are so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read them.. and are inappropriate.. example, for the zoom lens, "T" is for zooming in and "W" is for zooming out, with no explanation in the directions anywhere what W or T are supposed to indicate. 6) I can't get the camera to display photos on the computer so I now have a worthless piece of equipment that I can't use. My old Kodak Instamatic camera with the viewfinder was far superior to this camera. I would have been better served spending the money for this camera on a block of wood; at least I could burn that in the fireplace.

Resolution Isn't Everything
Strengths: 7 MP, image stabilizer, compact and cheap
Weakness: Poor image quality, consuming lots of power
Picture quality is not one would expect from a 7 MP camera. It is more or less the same as my several years old 3 MP. It gets worse under low light condition. Besides the camera is very slow. It takes too much time to get it ready to take a picture and it eats batteries fast. One of the biggest disappointments is that sound cannot be recorded when recording a video while many other cameras in the market can record both video and sound. I would have expected such a bad product to be brought into the market by some unknown company.

Strengths: Easy to use, cheap,Image Stabilization, Large LCD.
Weakness: XD card, video no sound, indoor performance
I have been using this camera about 2 months and i am happy with it. Actually the price I paid is pretty cheap for that camera which is $60 only and I am not expecting more. Low light performance is poor, flash is not enough, not very compact and no sound with video is big lack. Other than this everything is great and it use AA battery is big plus.

Got at good price in staples deal
Strengths: Crisp photo, panorama,
Weakness: Uses expensive XD card, video with no sound
This camera performs well for my, the pictures and great and good battery like, a bit portable so you can carry in pocket. I only hate their XDs are expensive, for shaky hands its good image stabilization. I like the feature of zooming unzooming in shooting mode, which is very uncommon. The picture quality is crisp. I would recommend this camera it is good choice for your kids also...as you may catch another deal from staples!!!

Olympus Stylus FE-210 Camera
Strengths: Convenient and Easy to use, Inexpensive.
Weakness: Image quality of Indoor picture, Slow shutter speed and Use XD card
It's a good camera, don't compare it with hundreds of dollar camera. If you're looking for 'pro' features and quality, go look at a Canon or Nikon SLR.
Overall, this camera is easy to use. Point and shoot, you can get done easily without any knowledge, although it has poor image quality of Indoor picture, slow shutter speed and no audio in video mode.

Strengths: 2,5 screen, simple
Weakness: low ISO!, not manual!, AA batteries!, are not good for very small tripod!
This camera is not expensive and she is good for them need to just fire shot and are not thinking about ISO, exposure and more. When I put the camera on small tripod, the tripod felt because of the weight of the camera. But it's okey camera

Strengths: Price, decent pictures, average camera
Weakness: xd card, everything else
This is a good beginner's camera given that you can get it for under $75. It takes decent pictures and you can easily upload them on your computer and on to facebook or myspace. For someone who needs a small camera and can take it anywhere without a worry, this would be it. It takes decent pictures and gets the job done.

Olympus fe210 review
Strengths: compact, full feature and inexpensive. Love the design
Weakness: none so far
This is a inexpensive, yet full feature camera that one can get for their teenager kids. The help function is usefull, since I don't have to carry the manual with me all the time. I love this one because it uses AA batteries which I can buy any drugstore. Any other Olympus brand uses a special battery which is not as convenient when I am travelling...

Strengths: weight, size
Weakness: everything else
I owned this camera for 2 weeks when the lens stopped moving in and out. Sent it back but Olympus said that I damaged it and refused to repair under warranty. Camera was never dropped so all I can say is that it is poorly and cheaply made.
Picture quality is lacking indoors, OK outside. Very poor battery life.

THE GOOD: Extremely simple to use. THE BAD: Shoddy incandescent white balance and complete automation mean severely yellow indoor photos; soft images; sluggish performance. THE BOTTOM LINE: With poor indoor white balance, soft images, and sluggish performance, its best to give this camera a pass.

Olympus' FE-210 doesn't look like a bargain model, but its performance begs to differ. The FE-210 easily slips into a pocket, includes a 2.5-inch LCD and 7.1-MP resolution, and is pretty much foolproof.
