Great camera

Strengths: Image Quality,manual controls,zoom

Weakness: burst mode restrictions

This is my third Panasonic camera(fz7,fz18) I have been very happy with all of them and have had no problems whatsoever out of them! But this FZ35 really takes the cake lots of user friendly features, a very good camera there is really nothing bad I can say about it!

NOTHING THIS WON'T DO

Strengths: This is such a dramatic improvement over the 6mp, 12x version that you can't compare them. I bought this because I have trips planned to South America and Africa and don't want to miss anything.

Weakness: Only drawback I see is that the lens hood doesn't reverse onto to lens when it's not being used.

I ordered this camera from Beach Camera and couldn't have asked for a better price and better, faster service. Promised in 10 days, delivered in three!

I've got to practice some more but so far it's all that I need to capture some pretty amazing shots of action, scenery and micro-shots.

It's predecessor did great last year in Italy, Turkey and Greece so I expect even greater shots from this baby.

Finally, a total camera with all the expectations...

Strengths: The Lumix DMC-FZ35K opens a window on the world. The clarity of subject, fantastic! The ease of use, the owners manual and all accessories, easy to understand. Great Camera!!

Weakness: A shame there is no flash shoe, the pop up flash is just okay. Macro could be better, as telephoto. Pictures are really sharp and full of detail. For the price, terrific!

Being a world traveler, I like to travel light, and the DMC-FZ35K fits that bill. I look forward to the challenge, and the results that Panasonic has given me, using this camera. I publish livinginhd.com Under Albert Gard, if you would like to have a look.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

THE GOOD: Useful 27mm wide-angle zoom; excellent image stabilization; full selection of manual and automatic exposure controls; very good 720p movie capture with operational zoom and manual controls; relatively fast. THE BAD: Noise and compression artifacts in JPEG photos; no hotshoe. THE BOTTOM LINE: A better-than-average megazoom choice, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 delivers standout video...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 Review

Few long zoom digital cameras are as well-received as the Panasonic FZ line, and that trend continues with the Panasonic FZ35. As we expected, the Panasonic FZ35 is one fine digital camera, with a great lens, good image quality, and more than a few smart features. With a zoom range from 27 to 486mm, the Panasonic Lumix FZ35 will meet just about every need you have on your next outing, and do it...

Camera Labs – Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 review

Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FZ35 is the successor to one of the best super-zoom cameras of the last year. Panasonic’s not messed too much with a winning formula and kept the earlier FZ28’s lightweight body, 18x zoom and 2.7in screen, but the new model features improved stabilisation, quicker AF, and an HDMI port, along with stereo sound, exposure control and the choice of encoding for its 720p HD...

DCRP Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 is a very capable super zoom camera/camcorder hybrid. It offers an 18X optical zoom lens with a nice focal range, an enhanced image stabilization system, full manual controls, expandability and, of course, plenty of bells and whistles. It's also pretty good in the movie department: you can record 720p video until your memory card fills up (except in Europe), manual...
