Canon EOS 7D (with 28-135mm lens)

THE GOOD: Very fast; excellent photo quality; flexible autofocus system; big, bright viewfinder; streamlined interface; adds wireless flash control. THE BAD: Single card slot; some annoying small and hard-to-feel buttons; limited to three shots for bracketing; Live View focusing still slow. THE BOTTOM LINE: An excellent midrange dSLR, the Canon EOS 7D delivers for the money.

Canon EOS 7D Review

In many ways the Canon EOS 7D stands alone.

It's a digital SLR camera that can capture 18-megapixel images at 8 frames per second and 14-bit depth, with a quite usable ISO range from 100 to 12,800. The Canon 7D offers Live View, full manual exposure control while recording movies, Full HD movie recording, a new 19-point, all-cross-type autofocus system, a near-100% optical viewfinder, and...

DCRP Review: Canon EOS-7D

The EOS-7D is Canon's top-of-the-line APS-C digital SLR that fits between the EOS-50D and the full-frame EOS-5D Mark II. It offers superb photo quality, great build quality, super-fast continuous shooting, a nice LCD and optical viewfinder, Full HD movie recording, and more customizable buttons, dials, and menus than any camera I've tested. There's not a whole lot to complain about. Images can be...

Camera Labs – Canon EOS 7D review

Canon’s EOS 7D is the company’s most confident semi-pro DSLR to date. It may be positioned between the EOS 50D and 5D Mark II, but manages to surpass both models in a number of respects. It may not boast the full-frame sensor of the 5D Mark II nor its ultimate image quality, but the 7D handles better than any non-pro model yet. The viewfinder is large and accurate with LCD graphics, the AF...
