Very Useful Gadget

Strengths: Very compact Size. Smimple one button remote.

Weakness: Limited angle operation. Two seconds delay sutter releaase

I bought this as an accessory to my first DSLR Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. It is very useful taking family photos. many times I missed to be part of the family photos because I am the one taking photos. I can use timer but I have to run to get into the photos. Many times got photos with akward sitting photos. This remote solved all the above mentioned problems. And also it is very compact in size. it fitted in my camera gadget bag very easily. it's simple operation very easy. it has two seconds shutter release delay. Some times that delay may cause troubles with impatient kids in family grup photos. And also I noticed I can't use the remote while I am at back of the camera and also at some corner angles. It seems you have to be at front of the camera to use the remote. So far that didn't cause much problems for me.

Canon Remote Control

Strengths: Canon

Weakness: price

Since this is Canon product I expect everything to be OK with it. I have been using the remote control for a day only but I am very happy with it.
