Invaluable accessory

Works exactly as described. This is really something you need to have, even if you have a spare batter (the most important accessory you can buy). You will be surprised at how fast you can use up a battery, and this car charger is a much needed compliment to the battery charger you got with your camera. A little bulky, a little pricey, but nonetheless pretty invaluable.

Good accessory for recharging batteries on the road

Strengths: Fantastic for charging batteries on the road

Weakness: None

One of the problems about getting out and about and using my Camcorder is that if you've had an exciting day and used your camcorder a lot, you can run out of charge in your battery extremely fast.
Camcorders use up power quite fast, and you can either buy a lot of batteries, or perhaps buy one other and buy yourself a charger kit. Inevitably, you need to charge your battery when you're not at home, so this is where this kit comes in.
If you're on vacation in the middle of nowhere, this is a great device so that you can use your car to re-charge your battery.
I love having a car charger for my camcorder, and I will certainly use this for many years.
