Strengths: Easy to use, high quality pictures, water proof pictures, easy to hookup, and easy to use software.
Weakness: The pictures end of costing about 62 cents a print and they take 90 seconds to print. But one most also note you end up saving money because you only print the pictures you want.
I highly recommend this product. It is great to take a picture and 90 seconds later... have an actually copy of the picture you just took. Really comes in handy when a friend wants a pic and you just have to find it on the camera and hit print.
I would also like to note that cost of the pictures in greater detail. If you take 30 pictures.... on the dock that would cost 62 cents a picture to print and about 29 cents a print at a local store. These about doubles your cost... BUT most people do not realize that when you really look at the picks on your computer... you may only really care for 10 of the pictures and the rest you can just save on the computer. Thus this really does save you time and money!!
This review is not only based on the purchase of this printer, but the fact that this is the second printer I have bought since sharing the first one with family became an issue since we all love taking photos.

Strengths: Great combination with my Kodak 6340 camera. Easy to use but the software tends to be strong on overkill towards simplicity. Charges the camera battery as you review and transfer your pictures.
Weakness: Big weakness was discovered when water was spilled on the table and some splashed on the printer. Killed the printer so now I have to send it to Kodak for repair.
I was surprised when I first plugged the unit in and found that it has no on / off switch. I have used it for about two weeks and was impressed by the quality of the prints and the ease of printing them.
Recently a water spill on the table splashed some water on the dock and killed it completely. I tried the support area on-line and learned that my warranty is void if the dock has been dropped or exposed to water or humidity. The Kodak site mentions that repairs not under warranty will incur a $35.00 return charge plus the cost of repair. I figure that with the cost of shipping it to them and repairs and parts I will spend more than the unit originally sold for.
I like the functionality of the dock, but the cost of living with these limitations, no off / on switch, expensive print media, and easily damaged construction make me wonder if this is really a bargin.

Strengths: Ease of use; compatibility with multiple cameras; price point; availability of supplies; no need to leave home to pick up photos at outside locations
Weakness: It could be priced a bit lower -- it's appealing to the general user so this price may seem a bit high for an in-home photo printer that doesn't do anything else.
This Dock Series 3 Printer was purchased for the mother of a good friend who is in her 70's. Getting out of the house to pick up photos at the store through the Chicago winter will be difficult at times. This option will be convenient, easy to use and does not take up a lot of space in the house. A great idea and one that will be used for many years to come.

Strengths: Very easy to use, charges camera, good quality prints
Weakness: I have found that sometimes the printer does not print the whole shot. Mind you, we are only talking about a few mm. on the edges. But overall it does a great job.
Having worked as a professional portrait photographer for over 18 years, it was hard for me to finally switch over to digital from 35mm film. But I finally did and loved it. Our youngest daughter and son share my passion for photography and I bought this more as a toy for them to play around with. Low and behold, this little printer is a gem. We have had no problems with transfer, paper jams or anything else. We follow the instructions for use to the letter with great results. As a professional I must admit I have actually used this little gem to print out portraits for my clients. The quality of the prints is that good. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone. LOL)
Strengths: Small and doesn't take up much space and prints real nice pictures
Weakness: Cartridges not sold separate form paper so you have leftover paper building up.
Apparently Kodak wants you to think you can actually use all the paper supplied with Cartridge. We had one Cartridge that self destructed. So now we have all that paper left over on top the pile we were already accumulating
We had the same problem, the answer- open the color cartridge door release the unit push it back in and you get lots more pictures. Kodak does not tell you this.
Strengths: Easy to use, high quality pictures, water proof pictures, easy to hookup, and easy to use software.
Weakness: It could be priced a bit lower -- it's appealing to the general user so this price may seem a bit high for an in-home photo printer that doesn't do anything else. Additional photo paper is pricy to
I bought this printer about 1 month ago for my wifes birthday and she absolutely loves it. For the most part, when I have a lot of pictures to print, I run to wal-mart. However, when I need a copy in a flash or want to include some pictures with a birthday card, this works great. You can have them done in seconds and it looks exactly as if i had them printed professionaly. I also love the fact that you can print wallets and other things as well and you can print multiple pictures on 1 sheet of picture paper to save print paper.
Weakness: expensive, wears out quickly, paper jams ruin transfer film, useless warrentee
I have had this product for about 13 months. Pictures are great, when it works.I have had trouble with my dock after about the first 300 pictures.Transfer film sticks to the paper and the cartridge is ruined. This makes the process extremely expensive and frustrating. I have repeatedly called Kodak and they have not been helpful.Kodak offers to let me ship it to them at my expense and then will return it for $35 if they don't fix it and more if they do. Would never buy it again.
I bought this printer about 1 year ago and absolutely love it. Don't get me wrong, for the most part, when I have a lot of pictures to print, I run to Walgreens or Walmart. However, when I need a copy in a flash or want to include some pictures with a birthday card, this works great. You can have them done in seconds and they look Exactly as if I printed them professionaly. Also love the fact that you can print wallets.
This printer works very nicely with the Kodak easy share cameras. Easy to use and the photos come out very nice. Never had a problem with a Kodak product!! Recommend to anyone!!!
Strengths: Prints crisp clear photos with vivid colors. Can print photos directly from your camera or from your computer. Very user friendly, easy to operate.
Weakness: Slow printing time. White lines on either side of the photos.
Overall this printer works great. It is fairly inexpensive and produces quality photos. Its compact, lightweight and very easy to use. This is a great printer for kids. I would definately recommend this product.
Strengths: Excellent printing of small snapshots, waterproof pictures, good color prints
Weakness: Cannot print larger prints, cartridge runs out quickly
I bought this Kodak Easyshare printer because I wanted a simple way of printing out my pictures. I liked the idea of having a printer at home instead of going to the drugstore to make prints. This printer has several strengths and weaknesses. The good points about this printer is it prints WATERPROOF pictures. The color of the prints is very good as well. However, I wish the printer could make larger prints. I know this would add to the size of the printer but it would be nice if the printer could make 8 x 10 snapshots. The other major weakness of the printer is the cost of the prints. The printer seems to run out fairly quickly. The printer claims the paper that comes with the cartridge equals the amount of the ink that is in it. However, I have not found this to be the case.
With all of that said I would recommend this printer for its waterproof prints and excellent color.
