This Sony case fits the W50 very well. It's a bit bulky on either side, but that may afford the camera some more protection. I wish Sony made some nicer cases, but this one does the job.

Strengths: Soft padded inside, Tough protection outside.
Easy to use.
Weakness: Zipper pocket too small. A bit too expensive.
This camera bag is really eye catching. When I first came into use of it, I loved it.
It fits my DSC-W70 really well. I could withdraw camera from this bag very easily for snap shoot at outside scenery on the moving vehicle.
The softpad inside provides protection to the camera screen; While its tough and sturdy exterior provides sufficient protection for the camera body.
Its zipper pocket could hold Sony memory card, and ensure it will not come out during your field trip. But would be a bit too tight to hold spare battery for enthusiasts.

Weakness: Not waterproof, front pocket is useless, maybe put some cash in there.
I have been using the cloth cover that came with the camera for almost a year. Been looking for a tight fitting easy to open and close case for my DSC-T50. Finally found this one! Very sexy looking case and a tight fit for the camera. I like the Sony logo and the ease of opening and closing.
My only gripe is that the front pocket is very small. It can fit only a memory stick(in plastic case) otherwise it would crush it.
Strengths: Well padded and has additional pocket to put an extra battery/memory card. It's also very durable and it has a slot so you can slip it onto your belt during travels.
Weakness: Slightly bulky. Hard to slip into your pocket. But, guess that's the drawback of a well-padded case.
This was a very good product overall for the price I paid. It was selling for more than three times the cost overseas (Europe). I received the product quickly without any hassle. I'd recommend not only the product, but the retailer as well.
Strengths: Nice look, pockets for extra memory and battery, easy open/close velcro flap, and can also loop onto a belt. Also easy for females to just simply put into a purse to protect the screen.
Weakness: Very snug fit, although recommended for DSC-N2 Sony camera. Pricey.
Actually is a bit more snug that I personally prefer, but I'd rather have it compact rather than bouncing around in a case. Kind of high priced for what you get, but then again, you're buying it with the Sony branding on it.
Strengths: Provides decent protection, camera fits nicely - does not shake inside
Weakness: soft clothing does not look like very durable
It is a very convenient priced camera case that is lightweight and provides decent protection. However it is not as stylish as the leather casings and I don't believe it provides too much protection in case of an accidental dropping or so.
Strengths: - Size, not too big.
- Built-in belt clip.
- Soft padding inside, while outside is pretty firm for protection.
Weakness: - There is a metal ring for a shoulder strap, but no strap is included.
- Only 1 small pocket, can't hold many extras (maybe fit a few memory cards, would be a stretch to fit an extra battery).
This case is a good buy, look around for a cheap price, I saw it at a local store for $20, you should be able to find it for half that online. This case is a good size, looks and feels nice, not cheap looking. You will enjoy this case if you don't need to hold too many extras as there just isn't much room for anything besides the camera and a few memory cards.
Strengths: Fits the DSC-T100 perfectly, has a zippered pocket for extra battery, has a belt loop and a hook.
Weakness: No strap, pocket will fit only spare battery, no additional memory stick.
I bought this for my DSC-T100 since it's the cheapest case. I think one should always get a nylon case (as opposed to a leather one), since it's sturdier. This is a very good fit for the DSC-T100 and I really like the zippered pocket. I wish, as the previous reviewer, that it had more style, but I guess for that one would get a zippered case. I also wish it had a long neck-strap, as did my previous Sony case for my previous Sony camera. All in all, for $10 it's a great buy.
Great fit for the Sony W50
Strengths: Snug fit, fairly well padded
Weakness: Bulky, not much style
This Sony case fits the W50 very well. It's a bit bulky on either side, but that may afford the camera some more protection. I wish Sony made some nicer cases, but this one does the job.
