Just recently purchase as my run around camera to use in the field as well as some pro jobs that do not require me to my DSLR. has many of the same features as a pro DSLR

Strengths: stabilization is extra great
Weakness: none so far
i got this camera for Christmas and have not been able to pit it down. i am 72 and shake quite a bit. this camera is perfect for amatures like me. i can even take clear pictures at 30Xzoom. i have two other Fuji cameras and this one is the best yet. it is the highest mega pixel i have ever had and it is just a good thing it is digital or i would go broke buying film. i have a friend that is a professional photographer, he is going to teach me some of the things i don't know and give me his spin on this camera. i think he will be ompressed. i wish they still came with manuals but it is no biggie i can get one from "manuals ink" on the internet. i will let you all knopw what me friend thinks as for me i am a happy photog.
