design issues
just beware that there are design issues regarding the use of a cable shutter release. The 10 pin jack normally on the front of a Nikon dslr camera has been replaced with a jack on the side of the camera. If you are using an L bracket to shoot in portrait

Finest DSLR I have ever used!
Since I got this D600 body, I have done a few different tests with it and some sharp Nikon lenses. I have used it at high ISO levels under moonlight at night. I have used it in bright sunshine as well. I am very favorably impressed wtih the image quality

Great camera but not impressed....
Not that impressed. If you never owned an FX camera then any FX camera will do right. Other than that, wait for a cheaper D4. Nikon could have done a lot more with ISO performance - 6400 is not enough for a camera like this. Max shutter speed is lower tha
