Good Buy for SLR
Strengths: High Range - 164 feet guide Professionally powered
Weakness: Expensive
Very happy with my purchase. I was debating a lot whether to buy FL-36 or FL-50 and finally ended up buying FL-50. Very happy with my purchase eventhough it is a bit expensive. Overall, this is a superb smart flash that is fully compatible with Olympus SLR E300. You will not regret this purchase if you're serious about your photography. The head rotates practially 360 degrees, swivels almost 240,...

FP mode overcomes...

Strengths: Perfectly integrated to work with the Olympus E-series cameras.
Weakness: Price is fairly steep.
I tried the Promaster 5750DX with the TTL Olympus module before biting the bullet and buying the FL-50. The Promaster worked fairly well, but did not allow manual control without buying a different module. The FL-50 does exactly what you want a flash to do. It allows complete TTL automated function, while also affording the flexibility of full manual control. Furthermore, the FP-TTL capability...
