AC Adapter for my Ist-DS

Had never needed an adapter for my camera until I got accumulated dust on the sensor. I ordered a large bulb blower and the adapter and was able to remove all signs of the dust from my pictures and avoid a costly repair! Thanks Adorama!

Camera power supply

A very nice accessory to have. A must for extended periods of use with the camera. A must for presentations and extended shooting sessions. A definite battery saver.

Gotta Get it

Strengths: No need to burn through batteries

Weakness: A bit pricey

This is such a great idea, when you consider how many batteries you'd go through on a standard photo shoot this product pays for itself. Who doesn't wish they thought of this idea sooner!

Good unit if it were more reliable

Not reliable. The unit quit after less than 50 hours use over 21 months. Because it was past the one-year warranty, Pentax would do nothing about it. Probably a better bet to buy a much-cheaper aftermarket AC adapter.
