Hit and Miss.
Strengths: Fast shots, compact design, ease of use.
Weakness: White spots all over indoor and outdoor night photos, grainy zoom shots, expensive.
O.k., why didn't any of the reviewers mention that the flash proximity to the lense causes ghost spots all over any photos taken with the flash? There is even a reference to this in the manual and the user is told this is "normal" and not a malfunction of the camera. Normal to have spots all over indoor and outdoor night photos? Great. This is caused by small specs of dust and lint in the air...

Review the product (Cyber-shot DSC-T30 Digital Camera - Silver (7.2MP, 3x Opt, 58MB Internal Memory, Memory Stick Pro/Memory Stick Pro Duo)) you recently purchased
Strengths: Fantastic screen size and clarity. High quality lens = pictures.
Weakness: Almost does too much - will take time to learn every capability.
Overall the camera is a winner. Small size but large in capability and quality. Would prefer that it would come with memory stick as the internal memory is inadequate. The 3" screen is ideal for photo shooting (for the sight challenged) and reviewing photos. Highly recommended.

The Fun & Sexy Sony Cybershot DSC-T30
Strengths: Huge, immense screen, good screen resolution & color. Ability to zoom when in filming mode. Compact, easy to use, and long battery life (3 to 4 hrs for picture taking!). 4 slide show modes add fun.
Weakness: Frequent red eye when taking closeups in dark settings (I don't use red eye stutter mode when taking pics). Circular button pad and buttons near it are a little too closely bunched.
I was attracted by the beauty of the screen, the ability to zoom when recording short films, it's compactness, ease of use, and extra long battery life. Overall, this is a very fun to use compact/multi-purpose/travel camera. Start-up time is very quick and charge time between shots is fairly quick. The red eye pops up more often than desired when I'm taking dark candid closeup indoor pictures,...

DSC-T30
Strengths: large screen, slim design, easy to use &antiblur!!
Weakness: lcd gets fingerprinty, no viewfinder
price grabber helped me find this camera at the lowest price, so i thought what the heck. I've been waiting for this camera to go down a bit in price b/c $500 was a little too steep for me. Overall though i love the sleek design and its ease of use. I had a sony camera before that was wayyy long overdue for an upgrade and this seemed to be the right one. With 7.2 MP & a large 3" lcd screen [so i...

Amazing little camera
Strengths: Sharp pics, image stabilization, large LCD.
Weakness: Sliding cover, thumbprints.
Really an amazing package in this little camera. Such sharp pictures, great battery life, image stabilization, gorgeous LCD, just all around great.
The only cons are -- I am not a fan of the sliding lens cover design, I much rather have a mechanical lens cover. Plus that large LCD is a magnet for fingerprints.
