Overpriced accessory useful only if you have the vertical grip
Strengths: Hold two batteries at once
Weakness: Cost. Charges the batteries sequentially instead of simultaneously
I just have a hard time believing that they couldn't design this to charge two batteries simultaneously. Instead, it charges them sequentially. Must be an electrical engineer among us who can account for that, but I don't get it. Fire hazard perhaps? If you have the vertical grip for the alpha series cameras, this charger becomes a useful accessory, since that grip holds two batteries....
