Olympus AC Adapter model C-7AU
Strengths: The unit seems durably constructed to withstand frequent use and it's small size requires little bag space when traveling.
Weakness: The male electrical plug could be better designed so as not to extend out so far from the outlet. Either a rotating plug or pigtail would suffice. An instruction sheet was not included or received.
Thus far, the item being recently purchased and my current predisposition, I have had no opportunity to make use of the device but expect so in the near furture. At that time a more substantial review would seem likely.

The DC cord works well if you are...
Strengths: Saves batteries
Weakness: Relatively short cord so mobility is limited.
The DC cord works well if you are going to be taking pictures with the videio screen on since it eats up batteries with the monitor display on. Or if you are shooting quicktime movies it also saves on battery life. The downside is that you obviously have limited ability to move around with the camera unless you're plugged into an extension cord.
