This Sony HDMI to Mini HDMI Cable is for use with their line of camcorders that feature the mini HDMI socket. This cable is HDMI 1.3 high-speed compliant, and is capable of transmitting up to speeds of 10.2 Gb/s. HDMI provides an interface between many compatible digital audio/video sources, such as a set-top box, a DVD player, a video game system such as the PlayStation 3, or an A/V receiver and compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such as a digital television . It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

This is a great cable... one cable does it all. Audio and Video. This cable was at least $50-$70 more at local stores such as Best Buy.

Weakness: A little tough to actually fit both ends in
Very obvious which end went where, but not so easy to fit into mini HDMI slot (camcorder) and maxi HDMI slot (TV). However, after a few minutes, able to do so and worked wonderfully.

High quality hdmi cable

I bought this HDMI cable to use for my Canon HF100 and it works great! The video output on my HDTV and Dell LCD display is excellent. The built quality from Sony is great, too. I don't have any complaints for this product.
