I purchased this card to use with my Sony HDR-SR11 camcorder. With the camcorder set at the highest quality setting of AVCHD 16M(FH), it holds about 1 hour of video. The write speed is faster then the older cards at 32Mbps minimum and 160Mbps maximum in parallel transfer. Genuine Sony Works 100%

Strengths: Genuine Sony Product - works 100% - taken 100s of pics and works great with my Sony HCR-11 for AVCHD and MPEG2

Weakness: none

Don't fall for fake Sony cards. There are lots of these fakes on ebay; sometimes hard to detect. My pics and videos are worth the extra $50 for the genuine product.

Great for use with PSP

Strengths: large storage capacity, fast write speeds

Weakness: expensive compared to 4 GB and smaller capacity memory sticks

It gives me more than enough space to store my save data, downloadable games and demos, video, and music. A Useful Size for Video recording

Strengths: Now a size large enough to record high quality video

Weakness: Still expensive

This memory now allows me to record high quality 640 X 480 30fps video for 1 3/4 hrs on my digital camera. Other smaller sizes didn't allow enough time to capture video for me.

Weakness: Only can be used on a Sony product

The memory stick is the new MARK2 version, meaning it is certified to work with the new video cameras that record to flash memory. Usually these cards are a bit on the expensive side, making the 4gb version more worthwhile, but I use this for my PSP and would like to have as much space on one card as possible for convenience sake.
