Strengths: Easy to use Compact

Weakness: Lacks a way to attatch to anything

This is a gret product for Canon equipment. I have used this before and never had a complaint. Allows you to take a picture remotely and without shaking the camera. Great prioduct for amatuers and proffesionals.

Weakness: none

This is a must to help eliminate vibrations when using slow shutter speeds. Great price and has a nice holder for the protective cap built in, so you won't lose it.

Strengths: versatile, compact, easy to use

Weakness: would be better with a longer cable

overall great product. it is versatile, compact, and very simple to use. the only drawback that i personally have ist the length of the cable. i would prefer to have at least another 12 to 18 inches.

I have had several episodes where...

Strengths: Convenient. Easy to use. Nice locking mechanism.

Weakness: Camera-specific. Can get stuck.

I have had several episodes where the shutter lock gets stuck and the camera won't take a photo with the remote switch. Had to turn off camera, disconnect, cold boot. Pissed me off. Not sure why this happens.

Strengths: Allows you to set up and take pictures quickly.

Weakness: It's cord is way to short to use for the purpose that I got it. Shutter button is easily put on continual shooting

I wanted to put my camera on a tripod and set up my subject and shoot when I wanted, hide from my subject and shoot them, or touch a child's nose to get them to smile and shoot their picture like in a studio, but this cord is only about 18 inches long and is almost worthless to me. I have also had a problem with the shutter lock....

I was very disappointed when I received this product in the mail. I have also had a problem with the shutter lock. It is very sensitive and it easily slides to lock position. It will shoot 4 or 5 pictures before I realize what's happing and am able to stop it.
I definitely would not recommend this product if you wanted it for any of the reasons that I bought it for.
