A useful addition to the E-1 camera
Strengths: Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Weakness: None, except the price.
This cable release works on the Olympus E-1 camera and serves to trigger the shutter, as well as being the control for shooting long exposure "bulb" shots. It is well constructed, but I'm of the opinion it should sell for about half of what Olympus suggests. It's nice to have, but most people probably are better served by the wireless remote.

Perfect, no glitches
Works for all shutter speeds - including B. No more push the button and wait 2 seconds. Just push the button. It also has a lock mechanism for long shutter exposures. Don't know how I survived without this piece of gear.
