Strengths: No need to remove batteries to keep them charged. Allows you to use camera without depleting those batteries. Provides a constant power source when you are doing time-consuming / miscel-tasks at home.
Weakness: Must remain tethered to a cord when shooting; then again isn't it when that becomes inconvenient when you would shift to battery operation?
Well! Isn't a cord inherent to charging batteries? The work-around to this is keeping a constant resupply of batteries on hand. This product places the buyer in the sweet spot; efficiency and practically combined with economy. Eventually you'll save on buying batteries. It is nice that you don't have to be constantly swapping-out batteries (as long as you manage the charge from being entirely...

CA-PS700 AC Power Adapter - for Canon Elura40 MC Camcorder.
Strengths: Worked as advertised that it would.
Weakness: None so far.
The power cord comes in handy especially when taking a lot of interior pictures (like in a party setting). These will ultimately save on battery use and the cost associated with it.
