If you have a Nikon D200 this cable is what you need to get GPS information into your camera. I have a Garmin IIIPlus that I tried to use with this adapter last fall and it worked...sometimes. You see, it's old and slow, so I missed a few good photo ops, because I was waiting for it to pick up satellites. Eventually, I gave up and got myself a new Garmin eTrex H that has a new, very fast chip. The advantage of this one is that there is a serial cable available for it that you can use with MC-35. Ironically, the more expensive garmins can't use it, as most of them can only use USB. I am pretty happy with it, but I would prefer Nikon to create a less bulky solution for GPS input into the camera.
