EasyShare Dock Series 3 from Kodak

Strengths: Easy to use, high quality pictures, water proof pictures, easy to hookup, and easy to use software.

Weakness: The pictures end of costing about 62 cents a print and they take 90 seconds to print. But one most also note you end up saving money because you only print the pictures you want.

I highly recommend this product. It is great to take a picture and 90 seconds later... have an actually copy of the picture you just took. Really comes in handy when a friend wants a pic and you just have to find it on the camera and hit print. I would also like to note that cost of the pictures in greater detail. If you take 30 pictures.... on the dock that would cost 62 cents a picture to print...

A blessing and a curse?

Strengths: Great combination with my Kodak 6340 camera. Easy to use but the software tends to be strong on overkill towards simplicity. Charges the camera battery as you review and transfer your pictures.

Weakness: Big weakness was discovered when water was spilled on the table and some splashed on the printer. Killed the printer so now I have to send it to Kodak for repair.

I was surprised when I first plugged the unit in and found that it has no on / off switch. I have used it for about two weeks and was impressed by the quality of the prints and the ease of printing them. Recently a water spill on the table splashed some water on the dock and killed it completely. I tried the support area on-line and learned that my warranty is void if the dock has been dropped or...

Easy Operation - Great In-Home Option

Strengths: Ease of use; compatibility with multiple cameras; price point; availability of supplies; no need to leave home to pick up photos at outside locations

Weakness: It could be priced a bit lower -- it's appealing to the general user so this price may seem a bit high for an in-home photo printer that doesn't do anything else.

This Dock Series 3 Printer was purchased for the mother of a good friend who is in her 70's. Getting out of the house to pick up photos at the store through the Chicago winter will be difficult at times. This option will be convenient, easy to use and does not take up a lot of space in the house. A great idea and one that will be used for many years to come.

Avoid it at all costs!

Strengths: Nice pictures.

Weakness: Paper feeder issues. Break down and prints only the bottom half of the photo. Kodak no longer supports this printer. You'll be left out in the cold

This thing is nothing but trouble. Avoid it like a bad cold. First, the paper feeder will quit working and you have to manually shove the paper in at the right time to get it to go.Second, it'll start printing only the bottom half of your photo. Kodak had me send it back and they replaced it with a rebuilt unit for $189. The part that breaks is nothing more than a little plastic cam the...
