This little NIKON and more than I could have hoped for. It does almost everything that I can do with my larger camera and it is so much easier to carry. I have used it for about a month at a wedding and also on a nature shoot. What a treat to be able to walk around without having to lug my heavy backpack. The pictures are beautiful! I am looking forward to a new grandchild later in the year and I already know that the continuous shoot feature will make certain that I get all of his first smiles! If you want a smaller camera with lots of power, this is the one. Just a couple of notes: The fixed 10mm lens is a bit tight when mounting. In fact, I returned the first one because it just does not go on in the same way as the zoom lenses. There is also not a camera bag that fits it exactly. I have just ordered the Lowepro Messenger 150 and I think it will do the trick. I wanted to be able to carry the camera, all three lenses and the flash as well as the charger. "

Rather than compete on sensor size and resolution, the Nikon 1 system is designed to be the fastest ILC to date, with decent bursts at 10fps with autofocus, or up to 60fps without.
