The Pentax Optio WG-2 Digital Camera is the company's 13th generation of the "rugged", life-proof camera line. You don't have to be an extreme adventure enthusiast to appreciate the features of the WG-2 though. These include the fact that the camera is waterproof down to 40', it can survive a drop of up to 5', it is designed to withstand up to 220 pounds of force, it's coldproof down to 14°F, and that it's dustproof. Phew! That's a lot of safety built-into one little point-and-shoot.

Pentax Optio WG-2 Review
Aggressively sculpted to look like something from a movie, the Pentax WG-2 is a lightweight yet rugged digital camera able to handle a dive to 40 feet. Though its printed image quality didn't blow us away, we were really happy with the color and exposure of the images we captured with the Optio WG2, which is what a play digital camera is all about.
